Director, Tad Beckwith, who founded the organization in 1999, has ridden 10,000+ bike miles himself, plans to invite dozens of long-distance cyclist to join the project starting this summer. Interested cyclists can apply to be PeaceBikers at www.peacebike.org. The job description is part-time teacher, part-time filmmaker/journalist, and lots of riding and smiling in between.
